Perth, Australia Ruah Community Services Full time

About Ruah

Ruah is a leading values-driven employer in Western Australia’s community services sector. Our staff go boldly, not just supporting people in need, but working to end homelessness, end domestic violence and create opportunities for people struggling with poverty and mental health challenges.

Our professional team of operational and corporate services staff is backed by one of WA’s biggest Peer support workforces. Our staff reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion, where difference is valued, celebrated and embraced.

By choosing to work with us, you are helping transform the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in our community.

About the Role

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with leaders across the organisation to design and deliver inclusive, trauma-informed, and values-aligned recruitment processes. You’ll take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle — from engaging candidates, job ads and proactive sourcing to candidate experience, onboarding, and reporting.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing insight and guidance to ensure our hiring decisions are fair, equitable, and aligned with our mission.

This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week with flexibility to manage the nature of the role, Monday to Friday.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with;

- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed recruitment practices.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles and contemporary sourcing strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a range of candidates and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance, best practices, and relevant industry regulations.
- Experience using Microsoft suite, ATS or HRIS platforms and confident with data and reporting
- Full working rights in Australia.

Desirable

- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion- including gender, sexuality, disability, cultural, age, and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture.
- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award or other relevant awards

What we offer?
