About the role

Applejack Hospitality is on the lookout for a new Restaurant Manager to join our family. Reporting to the directors, you will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the restaurant and its staff, and will be the point of contact for all client and guest relations.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the restaurant and its staff
- Be the point of contact for all client and guest relations
- Lead and manage the team to deliver high service standards
- Collaborate with directors on strategic and operational decisions

Qualifications & requirements

- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing in a busy restaurant
- Passionate and knowledgeable about wines and food
- Outgoing, talkative, confident, and energetic when speaking with both guests and colleagues
- Sound financial and business acumen
- The ability to work under pressure
- The ability to keep your team motivated and exceeding all KPI's
- Flexibility when it comes to rosters
- Gregarious outgoing personality with a touch of sophistication

What you will bring

- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lead a small team effectively

Remuneration & benefits

- Remuneration is negotiable and will reflect your skills and experience
- We pay above award for full-time and casual employees and expect generous tips and incentives
- Starting salary - $77,000 based on experience for Managers
- $85,000 to $110,000+ for General/Senior Managers
