Overview

Do you love creating memorable first impressions and bringing energy to every guest interaction? At Applejack Hospitality, we own and operate (soon to be) 12 award-winning bars, restaurants, and cafés across Sydney. Our venues are buzzing, high-volume spaces where detail and service matter just as much as the atmosphere.

We’re on the lookout for a charismatic and organised Host to be the face of one of our venues.

Responsibilities

- Dancing through the venue, setting the tone for service.
- Welcoming guests with warmth, meeting and greeting with confidence.
- Touching tables and checking in with guests to make sure they feel at home, drink topped, vibes high
- Story telling? Absolutely
- Coordinating reservations and updating guest notes in SevenRooms.
- Remembering familiar faces and giving regulars the VIP treatment.
- Balancing reservations with walk-ins to maximise covers while never compromising the guest experience.

If you are driven by making each guest feel special, this is the role for you. As the Host, you’ll not only manage reservations and arrivals but also work closely with the floor team to keep service smooth, timely, and guest-focused.

A bit about you

- Well-presentable at all times as the face of the restaurant.
- An excellent memory for faces and names.
- Previous hospitality experience would be great so you understand the ins and outs of service
- Drama student? Actor? Known as the story teller? - We'd love you to apply
- Strong communication skills – in person, via email, and over the phone.
- Confident with computer skills and reservation systems.
- Bright, bubbly, and thrives in a busy environment.
- Current NSW RSA
