Fabrication Project Coordinator

Our client in the Northwestern suburbs is looking for a Project Coordinator with a view to permanency.

Duties:

- Provide technical advice related to projects during the tendering and estimating process.
- Coordinate projects effectively.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for the company.
- Close out negotiations prior to project award.
- Audit proposals for both new and existing quotes.
- Prepare metal take-offs and fabrication details for projects.
- Liaise between clients and the workshop to ensure project progress.

Key Criteria:

- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, mechanical engineering, and welding processing.
- Experience as a Project Coordinator.
- Proven track record in similar roles with relevant background.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
- Experience in sales, contract management, and negotiation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
- Ability to communicate clear instructions to internal and external stakeholders.
