About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of CDC's next-generation data centre infrastructure in Western Australia. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of sovereign digital infrastructure in a high-growth, high-impact environment.

You will lead the entire construction lifecycle, from planning and build phase through to commissioning, ensuring each project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. You will lead a team, manage key vendor relationships, and drive innovation in construction methodologies to support CDC's rapid expansion.

This role will be instrumental in establishing CDC's Perth campus, which will feature state-of-the-art facilities designed to support AI workloads at scale, secure office space, and a range of amenities tailored to our customers' evolving needs.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the delivery of complex data centre construction projects
- Manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful outcomes
- Drive innovation in construction techniques, materials, and technologies
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and CDC's internal governance frameworks
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration from design to handover
- Build and mentor a high-performing construction team aligned with CDC's values and leadership fundamentals

About you:

- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects (Data Centre or critical infrastructure experience highly desirable)
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of delivering complex builds in high-growth environments
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems in mission-critical facilities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and contract management skills
- Passionate about innovation, safety, and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
