As our highly valued Consumer Engagement Coordinator you’ll play a key role in strengthening the voice of consumers and community in the design, delivery and evaluation of our projects and services.
You’ll make an impact at scale by:
Coordinating and overseeing consumer engagement projects and activities to embed diverse perspectives across processes
Foster meaningful relationships through committees, planning, commissioning and program evaluation
Support the development of a consumer engagement framework alongside associated SWSPHN frameworks
Support internal and external stakeholders in engaging consumers for business as usual, and strategic activities
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder or consumer engagement, ideally within the health or community services sector.
Sound understanding of consumer participation principles and co-design approaches in health planning, service design, and evaluation.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proven project management experience, including planning, coordination, and reporting on engagement activities.
Strong commitment to equity and inclusion, with an understanding of the needs and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, people with lived experience of mental illness, and other priority populations

12 month contract with possible extension dependent on funding.

$44.00 - $48.00 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging
