In the role of a Strategic Planning Support, you will join the Financial Planning Team to work with Australia’s most successful families, corporates and for-purpose organisations to help protect and grow their wealth and realise their legacies.

We are seeking applications for a full time Strategic Financial Planning support role in the Melbourne office supporting two advisers. Investment Advice experience is not a required skill in this role, the role requires focus on the strategic financial planning aspects of wealth advice. In this busy and varied role, the key focus is the analysis and preparation of advice and administrative support in order for the team to provide excellent client service.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

- Focus on enhancing client relationships by forging strong connections and deliver exceptional communication that elevates every interaction.
- Build rapport and create meaningful engagement to deepen trust and drive long-lasting partnerships.
- Safeguard the business by actively managing risk and ensuring full compliance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the advice and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Be the vital link that keeps everything running like clockwork, driving coordination and optimising processes for maximum productivity.
- Curate and organise the teams schedule, ensuring every detail aligns perfectly with their goals.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our clients. You’ll need:

- An interest or strong desire to be involved in strategic financial planning.
- SMSF specialist desirable. Understanding superannuation strategies is a must, including SMSFs
- Sound knowledge of the structures that apply to complex strategic advice and a working knowledge of associated tax issues.
- An understanding of cashflow modelling and debt structuring along with entity and personal succession planning.
- Account qualified (highly desirable)
- Can demonstrate;

- experience in SOA and ROA writing
- financial modelling and strategic analysis, ability to think critically and be able to develop strategies for financial independence for HNW clients. Strong applier of interpersonal and rapport building skills.

- Understanding of the industry, including compliance obligations and differences between Retail and Wholesale advice, including superannuation product advice.
