The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Commis Chef to join our team at Perth Airport. As a Commis Chef, you'll be responsible for collaborating with senior chefs to create dishes that make a lasting impression. Join our team and embark on an exciting culinary journey where your skills will flourish in our vibrant kitchen atmosphere.
Applicants must be available to work early morning shifts, starting at 3:00am.

What will you do?
- Prepare a variety of dishes in a high-volume production setting
- Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
- Execute food preparation tasks with a focus on presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Conduct temperature and quality checks, and manage cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance
More about you
- Previous Commis Chef experience and a solid background in kitchen operations
- Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery
- A passion for food and creative flair
- Demonstrated track record of meeting financial targets for food and labour costs
- Ability to work early morning shifts, starting at 3:00am
