About the Role
- Immediate requirement for an experienced WHS Manager to lead a team initially on a Data Centre project in Huntingwood for a top Client.
- Working alongside and supporting a highly experienced Site Team & Group Safety Manager who enjoys mentoring and developing those around her
- With a long history of building some of NSW iconic buildings, A W Edwards will be around in the decades ahead and will be able to offer the successful candidate a long-term career.
- Overall company project values range from $60M up to $700M and our diverse expertise across multiple sectors means that no one project is the same, allowing you to continue to expand project knowledge and learn new techniques.
Requirements
- You will be either an established WHS Manager OR you will have gained a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a Senior WHS Coordinator within a first or second tier construction company environment and shown tenure.
- Ideally you will have experience of large-scale commercial, Data Centre, health or Government style projects here in Australia.
- You will have a Cert IV or above in Safety.
- We are not looking for an individual to work excessive hours but would rather the successful candidate be someone who is focused and productive during the standard office hours with a time-efficient approach.
- The successful person needs to be approachable, able to converse face to face and discuss and resolve disputes as opposed to relying on e-mails.
- This role will have extensive client liaison and will require someone highly adept at managing and working with a demanding and present client - Excellent communication and report writing skills are essential.
- Nothing quite matches a face to face meeting and building relationships with all stakeholders involved in the project.
