BOSS Engineering is seeking a strategic and experienced Group Safety Manager to lead our WHS function across all sites. Based at our Inverell facility, this full-time role is pivotal in shaping a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of our WHS Management System.
  • Provide expert WHS guidance to the CEO and senior leadership.
  • Engage with staff across all levels to embed a proactive safety culture.
  • Identify and manage both physical and psychosocial hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with the WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation 2017.
  • Coordinate audits, investigations, training and return-to-work programs.
  • Report on WHS performance indicators and drive data-informed improvements.
  • Chair Safety Committee meetings and liaise with regulators and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or higher qualification in WHS (essential).
  • 7+ years in a senior WHS role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Experience leading WHS across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of ISO-aligned WHS systems and psychosocial risk.
  • High-level communication, influence, and leadership skills.
  • RTW and ICAM investigation qualifications (desirable).
