Change Manager

Overview

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Change Manager to join a team of change professionals to support SkyCity Adelaide with adopting, managing, embracing and embedding change for a significant multi-year business transformation program.

About the opportunity

Reporting into the Transformation Change Lead, this role is responsible for implementing change management across the program, as well as planning, developing, delivering, and tracking change management deliverables. The Change Manager will develop a change plan based on situational analysis that suits their dedicated workstream and the needs of the business. This role will provide inputs to the Change Forum and will support business teams to prepare for and adopt changes across the workstreams, including:

- Managing resistance to change;
- Developing change impact assessments;
- Supporting the creation and dissemination of communication;
- Identifying, addressing and delivering on training needs;
- Stakeholder engagement across the business;
- Analysis of operational changes and their impacts;
- Coaching and change reinforcement;
- Supporting post implementation reviews and lessons learned exercises; and
- Defining success metrics and measuring performance against these metrics.

The Change Manager will also work closely and provide support and tools for business owners to ensure that they own and drive organisational change required by the program within their business units and ensure sustainable outcomes are aligned to the broader SkyCity strategy. This role will be largely people focused with changes to business processes, systems and technology.

About you

You will have a strong track record of change experience particularly in managing complex change initiatives, particularly with the successful transition of people and the business from program mode to BAU. Your experience will be coupled with qualifications in Business, Psychology or Human Resources, as well as working knowledge of Change Management frameworks/models such as PROSCI, Lewin’s Change Management Model, ADKAR or Kotter’s 8 Steps. Being a self-starter who can deliver independently within agreed frameworks, you will have an excellent ability to manage expectations of different stakeholders and be able to manage tight deadlines and multiple concurrent tasks. You will be highly competent with implementing change, stakeholder engagement and project delivery lifecycles, and possess excellent commercial acumen and influencing skills across all levels of business. Experience supporting change focus around risk and controls frameworks in a highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
