About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Environmental Services Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in this casual night shift role. In this position, you will play an important part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in line with infection control guidelines
- Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, restocked, and stored appropriately
- Taking responsibility and accountability for your allocated duties
- Following safe work practices and adhering to workplace health and safety requirements
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or similar environment (highly desirable)
- Experience with cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers (highly desirable)A sound understanding of OHS and safe work practices
- The ability to prioritise tasks and complete work to a high standard safely and efficiently
