Sydney, Australia Levande Pty Full time

Posted Wednesday 30 July 2025 at 2:00 pm | Expires Friday 29 August 2025 at 1:59 pm

At Levande, we’re reimagining retirement living – and sustainability is at the heart of that future. As we evolve our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, we’re seeking a Senior ESG Analyst with strong financial acumen to drive performance, enhance disclosures, and prepare us for mandatory climate-related reporting obligations.

To be considered, applicants must demonstrate strong financial acumen and clear alignment with the key responsibilities outlined below.

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing Levande’s ESG reporting and climate risk capabilities. From emissions tracking and scenario analysis to aligning internal systems and external disclosures, your work will directly support our sustainability-linked loan (SLL) commitments and Science-Based Targets (SBTi).

Key Responsibilities

ESG Reporting & Analysis

- Lead the preparation of ESG disclosures, including Scope 1–3 emissions, aligned with ASRS, SBTi, and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage ESG data systems and ensure accuracy across energy, procurement, and operational platforms.
- Deliver insightful reporting and visual dashboards to support decision-making.

Operational Integration

- Work with village and area managers to embed ESG metrics into daily operations.
- Drive the rollout of ESG systems and controls, including emissions tracking and climate scenario modelling.

Governance & Risk

- Support the development of ESG governance structures and internal policy frameworks.
- Assist in integrating climate-related risks into Levande’s financial planning.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Liaise with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to align ESG initiatives across the business.
- Support board-level ESG communications and strategic presentations.

About You

You are a commercially minded ESG professional with a strong finance or accounting background, confident working across systems, frameworks, and cross-functional teams. You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to own and evolve ESG reporting for one of Australia’s leading retirement living providers.

You’ll need to demonstrate:

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years’ experience in ESG reporting, financial analysis, or sustainability operations.
- A deep understanding of ESG frameworks such as ASRS, SBTi, and TCFD.
- Strong Excel and data visualisation capabilities; experience with ESG reporting tools is highly regarded.
- Exposure to ASX-listed reporting or financial control risk frameworks (desirable).

Why Levande?

Levande is a leading retirement living provider with a national footprint and a clear purpose: to create communities where older Australians can live well. Backed by long-term investors and driven by sustainability, we’re a growing business where ESG is embedded in strategy, not just compliance.

You’ll join a values-led team with the opportunity to make a real impact, contribute to industry-leading ESG initiatives, and help shape a more sustainable future for our residents and the broader community.

Apply now to help shape a more sustainable future for Australia’s ageing population.

Please note: We are managing this recruitment process internally at this time and kindly ask that recruitment agencies do not contact us regarding this opportunity. Unsolicited agency referrals will not be accepted or considered.
