An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Procurement Officer to join our client's team for a short term contract supporting a broad range of goods, services, ICT, and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in procurement who can work independently and adapt quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage medium and low-risk contracts
- Support the development of significant or higher-risk contracts
- Conduct contract negotiations and prepare procurement documentation
- Provide advice on procurement, contract renewals, and extensions
- Facilitate tender evaluations, due diligence, and probity processes

Skills, Attributes and Experience

- 2–3 years minimum procurement experience, ideally within the government or public sector
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work largely autonomously with minimal supervision
- Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong proficiency with ERP software
- Quick to learn and navigate systems and processes
