Overview

The role of the Fraud Risk Analyst is key within our External Fraud team. The role involves handling claims and queries related to suspected or confirmed fraudulent activity, with the goal of investigating and remediating fraud related matters. As a member of a high-performing team, you will be responsible for investigating claims of identity theft, allegations of fraud and halt any adverse/fraudulent activations and rectify customer issues.

Your day in the life of a Fraud Risk Analyst at Optus

- Utilise your strong fraud and/or credit assessment skills and conduct an effective investigation into allegations of fraudulent activity.
- Manage end to end case remediation for claims of identity theft or identity takeover.
- Support the Complex Investigations & Usage Fraud teams.

Qualifications

- Ability to complete fraud risk evaluation accurately and efficiently, ensuring best business practices are applied and followed.
- Telecommunications or experience within a fraud operations or investigations team.
- A sound understanding of telecommunications products.
- Strong reporting, tracking and trending skills.
