Position: Senior Credit Controller
Organisation Unit: Haileybury

Synopsis
Senior Credit Controller
Responsibilities
- Join a supportive, high performing and collaborative, values-based organisation.
- Full Time (1.0 FTE), Full-time Fixed-term Parental Leave cover, commencing December 2024 and concluding October 2025, at our Keysborough campus.
- Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) function in the School, including collection of all tuition and sundry receivables. There are approximately 4,500 debtors that the team manages.
- Ensure that school tuition fees and other sundry charges are collected in a timely manner. This includes issuing reminder statements, follow up correspondence, interaction with senior management and members of the School community.
- Supervise the Credit Controller and provide regular reporting to senior management on the status of the School/'s debtors.
- Oversee and manage the debt collection process, ensuring procedures are met and all debtor communications are documented.
- Handle individual, sensitive debtor accounts, collaborating with senior management and external agencies to resolve issues.
- Conduct regular billing (Qikkids for ELCs, Synergetic for tuition), manage direct debit processing, and process debtor receipts.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive debt-related reports, including top debtors, aging analysis, collection rates, and call volume statistics.
- Utilize and optimize Synergetic for debt collection, maintaining accurate student records and reconciling the debtors ledger.
- Update Accounts Receivables procedures and prepare government funding applications as needed.

About You

- 5+ years of consumer collections experience with excellent interpersonal skills for managing challenging situations and understanding billing processes.
- High computer competency, including Microsoft Office 365, with strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to proactively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, confidential environment.
