Overview

Associate Quantity Surveyor – Team & Business Development Lead

Location: Adelaide – CBD, Hybrid (2 days WFH if preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $150,000 – $170,000 plus Superannuation

You'll lead client projects end-to-end, build and grow key accounts, and run a high-performing team in a supportive, people-focused culture. What You'll Be Doing

- Leading client engagements—scoping, cost planning, procurement advice, and commercial leadership.

- Winning work—proactively developing new and existing client relationships, bids, and proposals.

- Running a team—resourcing, mentoring, QA, and performance management.

- Delivering excellence—cost plans, estimates, valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.

- Steering outcomes—managing risk, variations, claims, and commercial reporting to drive best value.

- Representing the brand—industry networking, thought leadership, and contributing to practice strategy.

What You'll Need

- Proven experience as a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor in a consultancy environment.

- Strong pre- and post-contract capability with compelling client presentation skills.

- Demonstrated business development acumen and account growth track record.

- Team leadership experience—mentoring, resourcing, and uplifting capability.

- Chartered (AIQS/RICS) or well advanced on the pathway.

- A proactive, ownership mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
