Salary: $77,000 to $80,000 exclusive of superannuation

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Manager (2IC) supports the Franchisee in overseeing the daily operations of both the Drummond Golf retail store and the Big Swing Golf facility. This role focuses on driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operational performance across both areas. The position also provides leadership and support to staff and acts as the key contact in the absence of the Franchisee.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily store and BSG operations.
• Lead, motivate, and support the sales and BSG teams to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Provide expert golf product knowledge and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation.
• Support the coordination and hosting of BSG functions, bookings, and corporate events.
• Assist with BSG setup, customer service, and event preparation as required.
• Handle customer enquiries, sales transactions, and any service issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform staff training, scheduling, and supervision.
• Contribute to marketing, promotions, and community engagement activities.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting when required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Relevant diploma or higher qualification in Business, Commerce, or Marketing.
• At least one year of retail or sales management experience (golf or sporting goods preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across retail and entertainment operations.
• Passion for golf and sound knowledge of golf equipment and technology.
• Availability of working weekends and flexible hours when required.
