About the Role
Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking Mechanics/Technicians to support our Brisbane Branch located in Larapinta
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out pre delivery of new and used units and also a range of maintenance services including planned maintenance, repairs and modifications to a wide range of Toyota Forklifts and other industrial equipment.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Light Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic to try something new
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pre Delivery ofNew, Usedand Hire units and fitting of attachments and accessories as required
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
- Assist the Field Service team at customer sites when required.
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
- Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry. (desirable)
Can Demonstrate:
- Good diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry.
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
