Overview

We’re on the hunt for a reliable and hands-on Mechanical Seal Repair Technician to join our Acacia Ridge team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person responsible for running the repair and rebuild facility and responding to sales enquiries for new seals and repairs. If you enjoy hands-on work, spotting issues before they become problems, and being part of a team that values safety and quality, this is the role for you

Duties and Responsibilities

- Stripping, assessment and all aspects of repair and testing of mechanical seals
- Assembly of custom mechanical seals
- Attending to sales enquiries for new mechanical seals and seals repairs
- Maintenance of the repair equipment and conditioning of lapping plates etc
- Submission of customer quotations in a timely manner
- Preparing seal condition reports, clearly identifying & articulating failure modes

To be successful

- Mechanical seal repair experience proven through work history
- Computer literate
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent technical reporting skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical seal technology and repair process
