Omega Auto & Smash Repair Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The role requires someone with solid hands‑on experience, a strong understanding of vehicle systems, and a passion for delivering quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installing and calibrating replacement parts to restore optimal vehicle performance.

- Conducting regular servicing and preventive maintenance on a range of vehicles.

- Utilizing diagnostic equipment to detect faults and verify the effectiveness of repairs.

- Performing safety inspections and preparing roadworthiness assessments.

- Overseeing the inventory of tools, equipment, and mechanical components to maintain efficient workshop operations.

- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve complex repair tasks.

- Preparing clear and accurate service reports for internal records and warranty documentation.

- Advising customers on required repairs, preventive measures, and recommended maintenance schedules.

- Disassembling and reassembling complex components, such as engines and gearboxes, in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or similar qualification).

- Minimum 1 years of relevant industry experience.

- Sound understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.

- Good teamwork and time management skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
