Overview

The Australian Financial Review is in need of a new property reporter, based in Sydney. Under the aegis of the property editor, the person will be assigned to cover the Australian property market and its associated matters. They will also use the opportunity to develop more contacts in the property industry, analyze existing data and present to the audience in a clear, concise manner.

Responsibilities

- Cover the Australian property market and related matters under the guidance of the property editor.
- Develop contacts in the property industry.
- Analyze existing data and present insights to the audience in a clear, concise manner.

Qualifications

- Up to five years’ experience in a major news publication, particularly in covering the business and property beats.
- In-depth knowledge of the property sector may be considered.
