Job Description

- Provide functional expertise for SAP Finance modules, ensuring solutions align with business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document system enhancements or process improvements.
- Contribute to configuration of the SAP Finance (FI) solution to enable efficient financial operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
- Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Finance solutions.
- Conduct system testing and support end-users during user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP Finance modules.
- Keep current with SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations and evolving regulatory requirements to recommend enhancements that optimise business performance
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for functional specifications and workflows.
- Support the integration of SAP Finance with other business systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance SAP Functional Consultant should have:

- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance modules and related processes
- Expertise in SAP FI module configuration and support, with solid understanding of core financial processes and integration points.
- Experience in delivering finance transformation projects or SAP S/4HANA migrations
- Experience and expertise with S/4HANA solution (Finance, Controlling, Procurement, Assets, Budgeting and Forecasting, Reporting).
- Proven experience in SAP configuration, implementation, or support roles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Previous experience working in or with the public sector (desirable).
- Relevant qualifications in SAP.
