Overview

Lead the SAP ECC to S/4HANA Finance migration for a major govt transformation. Join a major Government Organisation on a long-term contract opportunity. Shape and configure core SAP FI modules to drive automation, compliance, and strategy. As the Functional Consultant (SAP Finance), you’ll lead the design and configuration of SAP FI modules, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory standards, and technical architecture. You’ll act as a key liaison between stakeholders and implementation partners, shaping a solution that delivers automation, accuracy, and strategic value. Join a high-impact ERP transformation program within a major government agency, driving the migration of legacy SAP ECC6 systems to S/4HANA in a protected cloud environment. This strategic initiative will modernise financial operations, enhance reporting capabilities, and future-proof core ERP infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure SAP FI modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement compliant, efficient solutions
- Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and external systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues to maintain system stability
- Document configurations, workflows, and procedures
- Stay current with S/4HANA innovations and recommend performance-enhancing upgrades
- Represent business interests and ensure alignment between vendor design and strategic direction

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
- Proven experience in SAP FI configuration and support
- Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration or finance transformation projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- SAP Finance certification highly regarded
