Position Description The ideal candidate will be a strategic and execution-focused marketing professional with deep experience in financial services, strong project management capabilities, and a passion for delivering impactful campaigns across multiple channels. The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing on initiatives that address business objectives and client needs. This role is responsible for leading the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, client communications, and the delivery of corporate events and sponsorships. It involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement high impact marketing strategies to drive brand familiarity and deepen client engagement across paid media, email, digital, and events and sponsorships. Build and maintain strong relationships with the GWM Global Wealth Management and Institutional Client Facing teams to identify marketing opportunities to support their channel objectives. Manage external relationships with paid media agency, media partners, and design agency to deliver timely, compliant, and high-impact creative assets. Oversee the production and delivery of regular, adhoc and campaign driven email communications using platforms like Marketo, Smartsheet and Cvent. Oversee PIMCO-run events including venue selection, invitation management, and on-site support. Coordinate PIMCO’s involvement with/attendance at third-party conferences and sponsorships Liaise with Legal & Compliance to ensure all marketing materials meet regulatory standards. Maintain and update marketing collateral including flyers, presentations, and branded merchandise and ensure currency of website content. Track and analyse campaign performance and email engagement metrics; deliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Lead video and podcast content production, including co-ordinating filming and recording, and managing transcript editing, approvals, and digital hosting. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline. Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services marketing, preferably within investment management. Strong understanding of the Australian investment landscape, adviser needs, and competitive dynamics. General: High energy self-starter Exceptional project management and organisational skills. Strong analytical skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively, manage stakeholders and build productive relationships across teams. Independent problem-solver with a proactive approach.
