The Role
You will contribute to the profitability, growth and return on investment of GPC Asia Pacific by working with high volume large dollar accounts, reducing outstanding debts and maintaining accurate customer accounts by liaising with external customers to achieve these goals, whilst adhering to relevant statutory legislation and company policies and procedures.
What you will be doing
- Customer Service: Take phone calls from Customers and the Store Network and Resolve queries.
- Debt Collection: Identify outstanding accounts, contact customers and stores to investigate reasons for late payments and provide payment options.
- Account Maintenance: Act as a focal point for the Store Network regarding account maintenance and set up Update and maintain Account Information on systems and ensure account set up is correct.
- Reconciliations and Receipting: Ensure all Key Accounts are reconciled, receive payments and prepare cheques to be banked into company’s account
- Teamwork and Leadership: Act as 2IC when required and demonstrate leadership within the team providing training and support to other team members. Also, collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Development: Undertake relevant induction, skills and technical training within agreed timeframe and participate in all self-development programs and workshops authorised by the company
- Other administrative tasks as and when required
About you:
- Must have good customer service and communication skills – written and verbal.
- Must be a team player with good work ethics and proactive mindset.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership within a team environment and lead by example.
- Demonstrated ability to relate with customers, stakeholders and fellow employees.
- Intermediate excel skills, mathematical and literacy skills.
- Similar previous experience is desirable.
