About CAWI
The Committee on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Water Interests (CAWI) has several exciting vacancies. CAWI is an independent advisory body that plays a unique role in advising the Australian and state and territory governments on world-leading water reform initiatives in Australia.
Roles & Qualifications
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples with extensive experience in any of these areas are invited to apply:
- Western and cultural water rights and interests
- Water science
- Management and leadership
- Advocacy and working with government
- Strategic governance and communications
- Policy and planning
Membership roles are open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples only.
Applications close 11:59pm AEST Tuesday 11 November 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
