The Role
We have an exciting permanent opportunity available for a Team Leader in our Motor Injury Insurance Division. As Team Leader of Injury Claims, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a dedicated group of claims professionals who support people through challenging times following motor vehicle accidents. Your leadership will ensure the team delivers compassionate, timely, and effective claims support, helping injured clients begin their recovery journey with confidence and care.
You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations, providing technical guidance, and fostering a culture of empathy and excellence. A key focus of your role will be to champion high customer service standards, ensuring every team member is able to deliver exceptional experiences while meeting performance and productivity goals.
The Person
You will align with our values and have the capability to:
- Lead and manage a team of employees to deliver enhanced levels of customer service and engagement and achieve positive claims management outcomes;
- Develop and implement effective strategies for managing personal injury claims in line with key performance indicators;
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation to common law claims matters;
- Communicate clearly and effectively to achieve positive customer service outcomes; and
- Think flexibly and strategically with a desire for service delivery and innovation.
You will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance your skills.
