Accounts Payable

M2P Engineering – Teneriffe, Brisbane, QLD

$70,000–$75,000

Contract - 6 months

As our valued Accounts Payable professional, you will play a vital part in ensuring all supplier invoices, payments, and reporting are accurate, timely, and compliant. Based onsite at Teneriffe, Brisbane, you’ll draw on your experience in accounts payable and finance systems to maintain accurate financial records and support smooth operations across the business.

What you’ll make an impact by:

- Processing 700–800 invoices per month accurately, including coding, entry, and matching to POs/dockets

- Managing end‑to‑end accounts payable processes, including payment schedules, reconciliations, and monthly supplier statement reviews

- Ensuring compliance with company policies and supporting month‑end and ad‑hoc financial reporting

- Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external suppliers

- Managing accounts emails, credit applications, and resolving accounts queries

- Assisting the team with ad‑hoc accounts duties and contributing to continuous process improvements

What you’ll bring

- 3+ years’ experience in accounts payable or finance operations, ideally within construction, engineering, or mining

- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast‑paced environment

- Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel essential), MYOB, Workbench; experience with IFS is advantageous

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and proactively within a team

- Strong problem‑solving skills, initiative, and a solutions‑focused mindset

- Highly organised with superior administrative skills, able to achieve tight deadlines

- Driven, resilient, and adaptable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Commitment to supporting internal and external clients and contributing to a growing organisation

Ideally, you will also have:

- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems

- Knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements

- Previous experience in an engineering or construction environment
