Clinical Coordinator - Natural Dentistry | Fixed-term, part-time (maternity leave cover -12 months)

We are seeking an organised and experienced Clinical Coordinator to oversee the day‑to‑day clinical operations of our holistic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide hands‑on leadership to the dental assisting team to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient delivery of patient care while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and compliance.

Location: 3/924 Pacific Hwy, Gordon, NSW 2072

Roster: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm

Job Description

- Clinical leadership: supervise, train and support dental assistants, reinforce clinical protocols and practice standards

- Infection control & compliance: Oversee sterilisation procedures, equipment maintenance and IC documentation in line with national guidelines and practice policy

- Clinical support: provide chairside assistance to our dentist as required

- Training & onboarding: Coordinate onboarding and competency assessments for new clinical staff

- Liaison role: Act as the key link between the clinical team, reception and management to streamline communication and resolve issues quickly

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Dental Assistant and 1+ year in a senior / coordination role (preferred)

- Certificate III or IV Dental Assisting (or equivalent)

- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation standards (AS/NZS 4815 or 4187)

- Proven organisational and team leadership skills with a collaborative approach

- Excellent communication and people management skills

- Familiarity in the Oasis practice management software (advantageous)
