The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join us on an initial 3 month contract to support the agency team in delivering effective, culturally relevant social media and influencer-led campaigns for their clients, with a strong focus on project management.
You will use your social expertise to inform and consult on strategic and creative thinking, supporting the delivery of social campaigns from briefing to execution, and interpret campaign performance data and cultural insights to derive actionable learnings and shape social strategy.
A Snapshot Of What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end management of social and influencer campaigns, including (but not limited to) planning, scoping, strategy, briefing, influencer sourcing, creative execution, reporting and optimisation.
- Own the quality of social and influencer creative outputs, consulting and ideating with creative teams to ensure best-practice execution across formats and platforms.
- Ensure social and influencer campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to target profitability, maintaining high standards across process and output.
- Partner with the Senior Social Director to collaborate on compelling, insight-led strategies, and recommendations to communicate social thinking and drive campaign effectiveness
- Translate data and trends into actionable insights through clear reporting, audits, and social listening - influencing both creative and client decisions.
- Guide influencer and social content creator strategies, from best-practice recommendations to sourcing talent that aligns with brand and campaign goals.
- Build and nurture positive working relationships within the agency - across creative, account management, production and beyond.

Your Ideal Skills & Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in social media and influencer management, delivering campaigns for B2C household-name brands
- Proven track record in executing paid and organic social campaigns - from planning, briefing through to delivery.
- Proven experience independently scoping and project managing social campaigns end to end.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projectsStrong understanding of paid social creative best practices across the funnel, with knowledge of key platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube).
- Confident interpreting both paid and organic campaign results against social KPIs.
- Experience conducting social audits - including listening, competitor analysis and identifying cultural trends and opportunities.
- Comfortable ideating social content independently or in collaboration with creatives.
- Skilled in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid understanding of the creator/influencer landscape in Australia (New Zealand experience a bonus).
