Kanda is seeking dedicated and skilled team members to provide meaningful support to people with disabilities – including those with higher or more complex care needs.

Responsibilities

- Support NDIS participants with behaviour management and trauma recovery

- Provide person-centred, trauma-informed care in home and community settings

- Flexible shifts - Casual & Part-Time Roles Available

- Support participants to manage daily routines while navigating trauma or mental health challenges

- Apply Positive Behaviour Support strategies and de-escalation techniques

- Provide trauma-informed care aligned with individual behaviour support plans

- Support clients with dual diagnoses (mental health & disability) in a respectful, non-judgmental way

- Encourage emotional regulation, independence, and community engagement

- Maintain detailed, objective documentation to support behaviour tracking and incident review

Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

- Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings, sleepovers)

- Valid unrestricted driver’s licence

- Experience supporting people with disabilities in community or residential settings

- Comfortable delivering clinical and personal care supports as required

- Background in related fields such as nursing, mental health, aged care, or disability support
