About the role

Supporting the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager and Nurse Educator, to provide clinical education and neonatal nursing/midwifery care, leading to high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Key duties of the role

- Participate in clinical teaching

- Lead, mentor and support less experienced staff and students

- Plan and coordinate staff education and orientation programs

- Contribute to research and service improvement activities

- Promote collaboration and communication across the care team

Skills and Experience

- Registered Nurse/Midwife with current AHPRA registration

- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience

- Qualification relevant to practice setting highly desirable

- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills

- Experience in clinical education and staff development

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
