Are you passionate about driving digital transformation in finance? We/'re looking for a proactive and tech-savvySystems Accountant to lead the way in streamlining processes, enhancing system performance, and embedding automation across our finance function.
What you/’ll do
- Design and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Maintain and enhance Finance systems, reports, configurations and security.
- Manage system access, workflows and master data.
- Develop scripts and leverage RPA tools (e.g. UiPath, Power Automate) to automate tasks, increase integration and enhance workflows.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to drive digital finance transformation and system integration.
- Champion process improvements and ensure robust governance and data integrity across the system landscape.
- Supporting and ensuring the achievement of financial reporting deadlines including month end, budgeting and ASX reporting requirements.
What you’ll bring
You will bring a strong background in finance or accounting, paired with hands-on systems experience, in addition to:
- A degree in accounting, data science, information systems or similar.
- 5+ years’ experience in system administration, automation and finance system support.
- Proven experience with system upgrades and implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and enterprise systems.
- A curious mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Professional, team-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Experience with SAP Build or SAP BTP applications.
- Background in the oil and gas industry.
