About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mental Health Clinician (AHP) to join a flexible CYMHS team in regional Western Australia. This is a critical intake role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to early intervention and quality mental health care for children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for children and young people presenting with mental health concerns.
- Triage referrals and determine appropriate pathways for care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community services.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Provide brief interventions and crisis support as needed.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
- Full AHPRA or AASW registration.
- Demonstrated experience in CYMHS intake or similar mental health triage roles.
- Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to start immediately or within a short timeframe.
