About the Company

Our client is a bespoke architectural Builder and Developer producing high-end residential projects to the local North Shore and Northern Beaches market. With a niche focus on building architecturally designed homes, they are committed to providing a seamless building experience to their clients from initial design to construction and handover.

About the Role

We are seeking a senior contracts administrator and estimator with proven experience across class 1 or class 2 residential projects.

Day to day duties will include:

- Prepare tender trade packages for all relevant documents for the project including scope of works, drawings, and specifications etc.

- Prepare detailed scope of works for sub-contractors

- Assess quotations, manage budgets, negotiate with sub-contractors, and analyse risks involved with specific contract terms

- Monitor and prepare detailed reports of cost forecast, cost control and cash flows

- Develop, maintain, and update documents and registers relating to the construction programme

- Review project documentation, interpret plan, specifications, and contract provisions

- Liaise with clients including variation tracking, weekly progress reports, and RFI submittals

- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment and resources

- Keep accurate records of all project documentation

What You Need

- Minimum 5 years as a Contracts Administrator or Estimator within the residential building or development sector (multi-residential experience may be considered).

- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies.

- Tertiary qualification in project management or construction management will be highly regarded.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
