Overview

Permanent Full-time | Based at our Head Office in Bundaberg

Kanda, and our partner companies are experiencing unprecedented business growth. The Payroll Officer provides precise and accurate payroll processing for Corporate and Support Staff in line with all the relevant awards and statutory compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing payroll for both corporate and support staff, in compliance with industry awards
- Processing pay advances and Workcover/Parental Leave pay runs as required
- Preparing documents for PAYGW and super payments
- Reconciling wages, super, PAYG and other payroll related accounts within financial software
- Assisting and actioning staff queries (incl. leave)
- Confirmation of employment and employment checks
- Processing and calculating termination payments
- Assisting with end-of-month financial reporting
- Assisting the team with any other ad hoc finance duties as required

About You

- Extensive high volume payroll processing experience
- Demonstrated experience using MYOB
- Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email and web-based applications
- Ability to work both independently but also within a collaborative team environment
- Exceptional time-management and organisational skills
- Highly proactive, accurate and detail orientated, with strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Hold or willing to obtain: Working with children check (blue card)
