Commensurate with experience

- Head Coach - $2,300-$4,200/season
- Assistant Coach - $1,000-$2,900/season

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of one year of experience coaching high school-aged athletes.
- Completion of the CHSAA coaching form, passing score on the CHSAA coaching test, and completion of CHSAA concussion training (more information: CHSAA Coaches Corner).
- Must pass a background check performed by the school.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coach student-athletes at all levels of the boys’ volleyball program.
- Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training to promote individual and team development.
- Build a competitive and character-driven program aligned with ERA’s core values.
- Collaborate with the Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, parents, and coaches to coordinate schedules and supervise transportation needs.
- Plan and host award banquets, camps, and conditioning events.
- Manage and maintain all issued equipment and uniforms.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Athletic Director regarding athlete needs, incidents, and program concerns.
- Foster strong communication with coaching staff, athletes, parents, and the broader community.
- Maintain knowledge of league and CHSAA regulations related to high school boys’ volleyball.
- Support and participate in program fundraising efforts.
- Adhere to league, district, and CHSAA policies and regulations.
- Provide accurate and timely budget information to the Athletic Director.
