Protech are looking for highly experienced Process Operators/Technicians to perform work with our client, located in the Pilbara at a highly reputable Iron Ore site in Western Australia on a 2/2 FIFO roster.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- $60 per hour

- Super on ALL HOURS

- 7 Swing Duration

- Start Date: 30/10/2025 PM flight

- End Date: 01/05/2026 AM flight

- 2/2 Lifestyle Friendly FIFO roster ex Perth

- Week of Days / Week of Nights

- Weekly pay

- Flights with Qantas / FF points applicable

- World-renowned site & facilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conducting routine monitoring duties which include sampling, inspection and record keeping

- Initiate work notifications through SAP regarding faults & breakdowns

- Operation of mobile plant equipment such as bobcats, skid steer loaders & forklift for clean up around the plant

- Operating large scale processing plant equipment: sizer and cone crusher, overland conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, train load out

- Wet Plant Magnetic Separation exposure (WIM). Not essential

- Liaising with metallurgical and maintenance personnel and providing relief operations as required

- Reporting on safety, plant performance and raising technical issues with the goal of optimising plant productivity

- Monitoring equipment and the timely reporting and identification of faults and loss of performance

- The safe operation of the process plant to ensure operations are maintained in accordance with standard operating procedures

- Housekeeping and conducting thorough plant inspections, assist with minor maintenance duties, escalating asset health and production issues

- Fault finding in a fixed plant environment & conducting quality risk assessments

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Minimum C Class Manual WA Drivers License

- Australian Work Rights

- Minimum 12 months experience within a Mineral Processing Plant including crushing and screening circuit and working near conveyor belts and live equipment

- Stockyard and trainload out experience (desirable)

- Bobcat, Skid Steer Loader & Forklift Ticket (desirable)

- Exposure to simple isolations and group isolations

- Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing

- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance

- Strong understanding and adherence to OHS

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
