Please note: This role is a combination of long and shorter shifts, full availability for work required.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct support to individuals with complex behaviours

- Engage clients in meaningful activities that foster social connections and skill development

- Ensure a safe environment for clients and promote positive behaviour interventions

- Promote independence and empower clients to make choices

- Document client progress and report any concerns to the relevant team members

- Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Qualifications

- Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and mental health issues

- Certificate III in Individual Disability Support or established experience

- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle required

- A current NDIS Workers Screening Card and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

- MAYBO, MHFA, Crisis Intervention or Alcohol/Addiction training highly desired
