About the role
Ventia are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning & Guest Services Manager to lead our cleaning operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development & implementation of guest and cleaning service strategies & action plans that continue operational excellence.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment for the team
- Provide leadership & technical support to Supervisors & Managers on matters relating to operations & people management.
- Respond to client enquiries, handle questions or complaints quickly and professionally
- Handle budgeting and ensure the team runs efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Regular reporting on performance and operational efficiency
- Work closely with the Training Coordinator to develop & empower your team
- Employee rostering ensuring service requirements are achieved & operational planned variances are met
About you
- 3+ years’ experience in a managerial role in cleaning or a similar field
- A diploma or degree in facilities management, Hospitality Management, business administration, or a related field (advantageous)
- Certification in cleaning management or a related discipline (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to accommodation & cleaning
- You are a safety-focused leader who drives accountability and continuous improvement. - Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check
