We are seeking a permanent, part-time Assistant Coordinator for Petrie Community OSHC in Petrie.

Petrie Community Outside School Hours Care is located on the grounds of Our Lady of the Way Catholic Primary School. Operating for over 15 years, our service offers before, after school care, and vacation care for90 children.

Our service follows an after-school care family approach, and we prioritise caring for one another and maintaining strong relationships with all children and families. We are a family-oriented service, and we aim to offer a home away from home atmosphere.

If you are self-motivated, dedicated about supporting the well-being, learning, and personal development of primary school-aged children, and committed to providing a happy and safe learning environment, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:

Job Requirements:

- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children.
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
