You will be instrumental in continuing the legacy of impactful programs such as the Supervisor Development Program, Supervisor Capability Program, which set a benchmark for leadership development across BMA. You’ll also take the reins in designing and coordinating broader BMA programs and learning pathways, ensuring alignment with operational needs, legislative requirements and strategic workforce goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and Develop Learning Programs: Create engaging, relevant, and operationally aligned learning experiences for BMA teams, with a strong focus on frontline leadership and technical capability.

- Program Coordination: Lead the end-to-end coordination of BMA learning programs, including scheduling, stakeholder engagement, logistics, and reporting.

- Facilitation: Where appropriate, deliver high-impact workshops and sessions across various BMA sites, with a focus on leadership, compliance, and operational excellence.

- Learner Pathways: Map and manage learner journeys to support career progression, talent pipelines and capability uplift across the business.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with site leaders, subject matter experts, and external providers to ensure programs meet business needs.

- Travel: Regular travel to Moranbah is required to support on-site delivery and engagement.

About You

- Proven experience in designing and delivering learning programs in a complex operational environment.

- Strong program coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Confident and engaging facilitator, able to connect with diverse audiences.

- Experience in mining is highly desirable.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

- Willingness and availability to fly regularly to Moranbah and other BMA sites as needed.

Desirable Qualifications

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).

- Qualifications in instructional design, adult learning, or organisational development.
