What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable function, while supporting the AR Manager with achieving team KPIs and driving process efficiencies

- Communicate with customers to follow up on outstanding payments across multiple currencies including negotiating repayment plans

- Accurately process daily banking including EFT, BPAY, and Credit Card transactions

- Handle new customer account setups, collecting documentation and supporting risk assessments

- Support ongoing risk management by assisting with credit limit reviews and sharing key information with stakeholders in collaboration with the AR Manager

- Investigate and resolve disputed invoices or claims working closely with Customer Service and Sales teams

- Complete reconciliations for complex remittance advises to ensure customer accounts kept accurate and up to date

- Provide recommendations to the AR Manager on payment plans, escalations, or external debt referrals

- Contribute to process improvements and support project requirements

- Foster a positive, collaborative, and solution-focused team culture

About You

- Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit, or a similar finance role

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders, external customers, and senior management

- Confident phone manner when liaising with customers

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team

- Intermediate Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems

- FMCG industry experience or relevant tertiary qualifications (Accounting/Finance) highly regarded but not essential
