High Salary Head of Disability Operations

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a new and exciting role, Head of Disability Operations.

The role of the Head of Disability Operations is to provide stewardship over disability services to ensure that all CareChoice clients receive supports in line with the goals, aspirations and funding. This includes delivery of all quality programs and the level of performance for all front-line staff, driving the CareChoice values, strong retention numbers and repeat referrals from our existing partners.

The Head of Disability Operations will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Head of Partnerships and Client Engagement Specialists in addition to their team members to ensure delivery of supports is seamless from initial intake through to long term program running.

This role is expected to provide a high level of written communication with all stakeholders. This includes but is not limited to monthly reports to the Chief Operating Officer, completing relevant reports as part of service delivery such as responses to critical incidents, responses to issues raised with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission, as well as proposals for complex service delivery as required.

Who are you?

- You come with a background in disability, with Nursing experience to complement your skillset.

- You have experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated understanding of NDIS funding and legislation.

- You have experience networking and creating long standing relationships with key stakeholders

- Ensuring the services delivered are in line with CareChoice's Model of Support and meet NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.

Our head office is located in Mulgrave, in the heart of the south-east suburbs and we offer hybrid work conditions.

Mandatory requirements

- Nursing qualification and experience

- Valid and current Victorian Driver's Licence

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module

- Current First Aid and CPR
