About the Position: This is your chance to join a market-leading litigation team known for handling some of the most significant and challenging disputes in Australia. You’ll work alongside top-tier legal minds on high-profile matters involving major insurers, construction contractors, engineers, and property developers.
The role includes a mix of complex litigation, coverage disputes, and advisory work across high-value construction and engineering matters.
This role is tailor-made for a motivated insurance or construction litigator seeking financial reward and a balanced lifestyle in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end litigation including drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions
- Advise on complex indemnity and liability issues across engineering and property claims
- Appear in court and tribunals, attend mediations and negotiate outcomes
- Develop client relationships and participate in strategic business development
- Mentor juniors and contribute to a high-performing, collegiate team
Key Requirements
- 3 years PAE, ideally within insurance litigation, construction, or engineering disputes from a private practice background
- A current practising certificate (QLD or eligible)
- Excellent legal drafting, advocacy, and time management skills
- A commercial approach and ability to engage with industry stakeholders
- Desire to thrive in a high-performing but supportive culture
