Overview

As part of our ongoing business growth and commitment to strengthening our production capabilities across both our wholesale and retail operations, Three Mills Bakery is seeking experienced and passionate Baker's/Pastry Chef's to join our dynamic team.

Employment Details

- Location: Fyshwick ACT 2609

- Position: Baker / Pastry Chef

- Employment type: Full-Time Position (40 hours per week)

- Salary: AUD 73,000 – 80,000 plus superannuation

Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a wide range of artisan bread, pastries, viennoiseries, and cakes.

- Manage dough mixing, proofing, shaping, baking, and finishing processes.

- Follow established recipes and techniques while maintaining product quality and consistency.

- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).

- Monitor stock and assist in ordering baking supplies.

- Train and mentor junior team members when required.

- Contribute to the development of new product ranges.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial bakery or patisserie.

- Relevant Certificate III or higher in Baking, Patisserie, or equivalent.

- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern baking techniques.

- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
