The opportunity
We are on the lookout for a Performance and Reward Analyst to join our People team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the design and analysis of remuneration programs, contributing to benchmarking, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with teams across the business, providing expert analysis and guidance on all aspects of Performance and Reward, including compensation modelling and job evaluations.
Your advanced Excel skills and keen attention to detail will be essential as you interpret data and generate insights. This is a high-impact role where your ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely outcomes will be highly valued. This role can be based in Melbourne (ideally), Sydney or Brisbane with hybrid work arrangements available.
What will my day involve?
- Provide detailed analysis to support the design and execution of remuneration strategies and programs within the business.
- Analyse and support the delivery of benchmarking of internal and external remuneration data to inform compensation decisions and workforce planning.
- Generate compensation modelling and scenarios to assess the impact of program changes or market movement.
- Support reporting for compliance and audit requirements relating to reward programs.
- Support analysis and interpretation of survey results and benchmarking data.
- Liaising with Payroll teams to coordinate variable reward payments.
- Administer scheduled employee remuneration adjustments
- Providing interpretation and counsel to Line Management regarding Performance and Reward policies, programs and practices
- Act as a Reward analyst subject matter expert through the provision of analysis in support of the broader People Team
- Job Evaluation across the business using a variety of job sizing methodologies.
- Support operational aspects associated with the delivery of the annual performance and remuneration review
- Contribute to continuous improvement in reward processes, tools, and templates.
What will I bring?
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with advanced Excel capability.
- Exposure to remuneration benchmarking, salary survey participation, and compensation modelling.
- Understanding of variable pay program administration and reward compliance considerations.
- Experience with administering HRIS systems (Workday experience highly desirable)
- Proven systems, process and reporting capability in a matrix organisational setting
- Proven stakeholder engagement and service provision skills
- Excellent data collection skills, and proven ability to convert information and data into knowledge, and to communicate that knowledge in a meaningful and useful way
- Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands in a client focussed and outcomes centred manner
