About the Position:

About Smiles Circular Quay is seeking a highly organised and proactive Front Office Coordinator to join the team on a Part Time basis 3 days per week - Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, and Friday.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience and smooth operation of our front office. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive experience for both patients and staff.

Located in the heart of Circular Quay, our modern, well-established practice offers a supportive environment, experienced clinical and admin teams, and a growing patient base. You’ll enjoy working with the latest technology in a practice known for its excellence in both general and cosmetic dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.

Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the practice, including adherence to health regulations and industry standards.

Team Leadership: Supervise staffing needs, including interviewing, training, and scheduling, to optimise team performance and meet patient needs.

Patient Relations: Address patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.

Scheduling & Ordering: Complete ordering while maintaining optimal inventory levels.Create and maintain employee rosters, ensuring coverage for all shifts

Front Office Administration: Manage office supplies, coordinate office functions, and assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Coordination with Clinical Team: Work closely with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently and timely.Assisting the Dentist at ad hoc times

Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What do you need to succeed ?

- Experience as a Front Office Coordinator-you may have Cert III orIV in Dental Assisting, but most importantly be capable of working closely with a team and a willingness to continue to learn
- A bright, engagingpersonality, with enthusiasm andcommitment
- Ateam player.You will help us deliver the best patient care whilst working with our talented dentists delivering quality dental solutions and fantastic value
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
