You'll own the health and stability of our front office pricing and risk systems during local Asia Pacific working hours. Our culture club provides opportunities for everyone whether you’re into fitness, pizza making classes, socialising or bringing out your competitive side in trivia or lawn bowls**What you’ll be working on**You'll provide first-line technical and operational support for all front office pricing and risk systems, with full ownership during Asia Pacific trading hours. Your day involves monitoring live applications for performance issues, validating system connectivity, and conducting controlled restarts or environment switches when needed.Configuration management is a critical part of your role. You'll gatekeep changes to pricing and risk parameters, ensuring every modification is accurate, authorised, and properly risk-assessed.When incidents occur, you'll troubleshoot independently, exhaust local resolution options, and only escalate to offshore teams when necessary. You'll collaborate with traders, business operations, and application support teams to resolve issues quickly, perform root cause analysis, and identify opportunities to prevent recurrence.Beyond firefighting, you'll proactively develop monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms that catch problems early. You'll recommend process enhancements that reduce operational risk and participate in post-incident reviews to strengthen system resilience.You bring experience from a front office trade support environment and understand the pressure of keeping trading systems operational. You're comfortable with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and ideally have some Linux environment exposure. Knowledge of SQL, time-series databases, and real-time data feeds gives you an advantage, as does awareness of market data systems, order routing, or risk calculation platforms. You're familiar with system monitoring tools, log analysis, and configuration management practices.More than technical skills, you have a highly proactive and inquisitive mindset with strong attention to detail. You think clearly and act decisively under pressure, taking genuine ownership of system health and stability. You're an effective collaborator who works well across functions and time zones, communicating clearly even during high-pressure situations.
